It’s not a trend reserved only for weekends, you can easily work it into your daily wardrobe and even work wear for a touch of quirk. The trick of the trade? I’ve opted for black skinny jeans, white t-shirt, pump heels and a statement blazer in this look, which gives off a sleek yet creative vibe. I’ve tied my hair into a low ponytail, which means the cap can sit neatly on top and if I do need to take it off, I won’t have a dreadful case of hat hair. No one wants that right!

One of the amazing things about a black leather cap is the way it adds edge to the most colourful and girly dresses! The next time you step out the door in a cute dress, throw a cap on, I guarantee you that it’ll work with almost any type of dresses, but it’ll work especially well with above the knee or mid calf length dresses. My arnsdorf tunic is a trusty number I’ve had for a couple of years, I wear it as a dress, I tuck it into my jeans and wear it as a top or over my bikinis at the beach, the orange is the perfect pop of colour. Keep your shoes and accessories simple and classic when wearing something colourful, it’ll help ground the look, so you don’t appear too cray cray.

When said sneakers comes with a boost in the form of a hidden wedge, like these Isabel Marant babies, well, that’s even better! Be bold and stand out on the court with a sports inspired t-shirt, this Tisci number has its roots in fashion but it’s also hip so the guys won’t tease you. I’ve kept the accessories in silver tones to lighten up the outfit. My hair, I thought a higher ponytail looped through the back of the cap is perfect as I love the way it bounces around whether you are playing basketball or tennis.
